Default twin force question

Hello. I just bought a twin force yesterday, and I'm waiting for it to get here. Eventually, I want to put the Novak Maxx setup in it, but for the time being I want to use the stock motors. I really do not want to have to buy an ESC that accomodates two batts and motors (just to use temporarily, until I get my Novak), so would it be possible to just use two ESCs? I have a Novak Dually, and a C2 that I no longer use. The ratings on these two ESCs are very similar. Is it possible to use some type of a "Y" connector from the reciever to the two speed controls (which each would be wired to their own battery pack)? I have seen an E-Maxx in the past with two ESCs set up similar, but the two speed controls were the same type. Would I need to have some type of a synchronizer? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
