RE: Great Planes P-51 ARF 40 conversion
Greg and Matt, thanks to you both for the information. This is just the kind of encouragement I needed - I can happily go and relieve my wallet of some cash, in return for a GP P-51 arf. I've only just dabbled in Lipo's, so maybe I'll try the NiMH option first and see if I can make it go. I've recently burnt out a Kokam Lipo charger - it was charging a pack, reached 90% capacity, and then started to emit a high frequency noise, and then just turned black and flamed out in front of my eyes!! It happened so quickly that I couldn't even drop my jaw.
So I'm a bit Lipo shy right now, but will get back to them soon.
