Default Pica 1/6 Waco started

I bought this kit for next winter, but it's been raining and snowing so much lately, what's the difference?

This is Pica's new laser-cut kit. The instructions aren't as complete as their Jungmeister's, and the plans don't show many section views. No 3-view either, which was nice on the Jungmeister plans.
I've enjoyed it so far. The cutting is very good and most all parts are cut to shape. While the fuselage takes a lot of parts, it's a very straight-forward process. The long "crutch pieces are pinned to the board, formers attached, and the rest added.
I'll try to keep updating as it goes, which could easily drag out into 2005. My intention, as with my Jungmeister, is to keep it simple and light for sport flying, but add enough detail to look OK. The rounded fuselage pretty much demands a fabric, maybe a pre-colored product like Solartex. To keep from cutting the cowl for the upright engine, this one might get a 2-stroke.
