Default RE: Lanier Edge 540T!!! the Only way

ORIGINAL: jerrysu31

I would have to say the Lanier Edge 540T & the OS 160. I have had the Chance to fly all these birds. The Lanier Edge is By far the Lightest of them all and the wing panels fit very well and is suitable for IMAC or 3D styles of flying. the Lanier Edge comes in atleast 2 lbs lighter than the H9, Yellow, DP, or WM
Just adding my personal experience before you take the plunge. This is fact... I had a Saito 180 on my Lanier Edge 540T and I had to add an ENTIRE package of Great Planes lead to the nose for it to balance (16oz I think). The plane comes out VERY tail heavy. If you decide to go with this plane I would recommend putting the elevator servos in the fuselage. I moved the wing tube back 1.5" (major surgery for me) and still had lead on the nose. But... plane flew very well. If you dont mind the balance issues...go for it. Just my .02
