Default RE: Launching a DD

I have launched by myself or with some one launching for me depending on day.

If you have someone launch for you I found best way is to hold mid way on LE of wing about where rib is. Hold nose upward about 35-45 degree and slightly slanted toward the right. It has a small torque roll to left when launched so that helps by launching with it leaning toward the right. That way it will roll over and stop when it is flat. Then just hit it WOT and have them let go. No need to toss I found that just by letting go it does much better for me.

If you want to launch by yourself cut down you your elevons about 1/4 in center enough for you thumb to fit. Then just hold with thumb between elevons and fingers under and launch same way. Up and to the right.

Happy flying!
