RE: HOG -BIPE maden
I think the bottom wing dihedral can be reduced or perhaps eliminated. My second Hog has 1/2 the dihedral and it handles better when it's not straight and level, which is rarely the case! Mine's flying better and better as I'm getting the control mixing dialed in on the Hitec Eclipse 7 transmitter. Now endless knife-edge is effortless. Currently I have both the ailerons and elevators slaved to the rudder and am fine-tuning the amounts. The decreased dihedral meant cutting longer interplane struts and making longer aileron interconnect rods. I also reshaped the fin and rudder, adding 1/2-inch to the rudder width and reshaping both to shift more of the area down nearer the fuselage.
I'm not suggesting these alterations are necessary, but think the Hog-Bipe can be optimized for better aerobatic handling. Every time I fly it somebody says "You look like you're having too much fun, Paul". I'm hoping I'll always have a Hog-Bipe in the hangar!
