Default RE: Hitec HS-635HB High Torque Servo

My spline shafts snapped right off on my ailerons on a Kangke CAP232 120. It was my maiden flight, I was not a happy camper. Luckily I just had to buy a new wing, the fuse is in perfect condition. Hitech handled it just fine, they took care of me. The date code on mine was 4-4. If you use the 10mm screws, you should be fine. Mine were the shorter screws. I still would not use this on a larger plane like mine. I'd say up to 60 sized. 90 or 120 size and you're asking for trouble. Just my opinion though.

BTW, I ended up going to the 5645 servos all around. Maybe a little overkill but I don't want to crash again. I may not be as lucky next time.
