RE: Dave Patrick super cub
ordered mine yesterday in white, have os 160 gemeni for it did some home work on the eng they used and the saito 120 is 133mm high and the os 160 is 196 mm wide so doubling the saitos 133 to 266 leaves plentyof room in the cowl, and the cowl is not tapered.my only concern is that 2.0 hp is enough to fly the plane ok and have enough power to get out of trouble, or maybe into trouble, which seems to be the fate most of the time, my sons fly the planes, i just assemble and detail, thank heavens, some time they the planes can be repaired? those of you that have os 160 s do you need an on board glow? have mcdanels 472 but dont want to add the weight, hey lets keep adding to this thread for the super cub! thanks jim
