Confused, need advice
I am ready to move on from the RTF planes that come with a TX.
My problem is the overwhelming choice of TXs out there, and not really finding a good explanation of what each feature is for. I want to get a TX that will not break the bank for use with both Heli and 3D type aircraft. I am planning on getting a Piccolo Heli, and a Pigi 3D.
My short list of TXs I think might fit my needs are the JR XP8103, or the HiTech Eclipse 7.
My questions are;
Why the heli/air versions of these radios? what does one give you over the other since in the descriptions they are the same?
Is it just pre-programmed adjustments for the type of craft?
Is it hard set a air TX up for Heli? (and visa versa)
Where can I find out about all these new terms and what do they mean? i.e. !QUOT!EPA's all Channels!QUOT! !QUOT!Dual Rates!QUOT! !QUOT!Exponential Rates!QUOT! !QUOT!CCPM mixing!QUOT!
Does anyone have a recommendation on a different Manufacture that may have a TX to fit my needs? (Sub $500.00)
