370mah batteries give plenty of time...the current draw is not that much. and no, i could not fit a 3000mah nimh battery cell in this sub. i get at least 20 minutes of runtime...i usually stop running the sub before the battery runs out. of course, i don't always spend this time running the sub at flank speed, but if i did, i'd estimate that i could get around 20 minutes of runtime.
