Default RE: Difference between Futaba 7CAP & 7CAF ?

If I've read my manual correctly then the "P" and "F" denote the Rx frequency. F for FM/PPM and P for PCM. My Tx has 7CAP on it but I have the FM receiver so I'm transmitting in FM/PPM mode. You can buy a PCM receiver and switch the Tx to PCM mode very easily I believe.

Looking at my box right now under model name it says 7CAP-FM. 7CAF just seems to be a shorter way of writing it and denoting that it comes with the FM receiver.

Here's the statement verbatim from the manual.

TRANSMITTER T7CAP/T7CHP
Operating system: 2 stick, 7 channels
Transmitting frequency: 50 or 72 MHz bands
Modulation: FM/PPM or PCM, switchable
Power supply: 9.6V NT8S600B Ni-Cd battery
Current drain: 250 mA

Hope I didn't just confuse you more.
