A Trip To The RC Field
It never ends...
I had a brilliant idea of saving space in the shop. so I built a plane rack out of 1" PVC pipe. It was 7' tall and real pretty. It held 5 wings and 5 fuses.
A few days later, I went to the shop for something. I shut the door and heard a crash, bonk, thud... The 4*60 on top fell onto the Mt magic (breaking the fin) and then jumped onto the LT-40 on the floor breaking the stab. On the way down, the 12X8 prop went through the monokote of two wings. (The rack had turned into a banana.)
Nothing like crashing planes indoors, gives a whole new meaning to deadstick landings.
