Default RE: Avistar conversion

Guys

I had a lot of fun and frustration with this conversion. Trying to use a motor other than the $25.00 Endoplasma was costly. I burnt up two Panther peak performance armatures at $20.00 each. I had to buy a different speed controller than I started with. Add $75.00. I had to buy higher capacity batteries. Add $50.00. The plane was free from a friend Lance at the FF. Total $170.00. If I had bought a Brushless motor from MEC or Cermark for around 100.00 and used the Jeti 40A controller I already had setting on the shelf. $50.00 from HL, I could have used the batteries I already had and saved some dough. BRUSHED is not always cheaper!!!!!!!!!! But I already Did that conversion 2 years ago.

In the end it worked and I am the only one at the field flying a big plane on a brushed motor!!!!
