RE: GWS R6N Range
By not impressed I mean to say this. Collapsed TX antennae range is about 50 feet before major glitching. Worst of all the ESC "looses" the signal and goes into failsafe and won't come out. My ESC is a CC 25p which means I can throttle up, but can't kill it. Even if I regain control I will have to fly until the batt is dead. I don't like deadsticking my Mustang if I can avoid it. Full antennae range is only about 500 feet before same glitching! This would be fine for any slowflying parkflyer, but not the intended airplane and its not as advertised anyway.
I am going to try it with a different ESC and setup and see what happens. Shouldn't have been a problem to begin with though.
