RG501,

I experienced the same thing. Those 2 screws have a bad habit of vibrating loose. I did have to replace the header gasket, there wasn't much there at all. You can get a pack of 5 for $2.39 here:

After you replace that, get some Loctit Threadlock for those screws before you assemble it. It will hold up well. It will also increase performance because, it's defeating the purpose of the pipe with the gap there. good luck
