RE: Shrike .40 first flight question
Take care to seal the leading edge really well or better yet wrap the covering well over the leading edge. I was doing high speed passes from a split S when the covering exploded off the whole left side of my Shrike. It was like a gun went off. Thank goodness the wing is sheeted 1/4 of the way back and the bottom half did not come off. It tried to run me down but I was able to land safe.
