Failsafe is a great electrical device to add to your radio system. It will help prevent a run-away in case your on-board rx battery gets too low in power to power your throttle servo and/or if you lose your tx signal.
A very good, small, lightweight unit is the DTXM4000 offered by Duratrax.
It install it, all you do is plug it in between your receiver and throttle servo. Turn on your tx then power up your rx, push the set button and your done.
If you lose power to the receiver while running your boat, your throttle will go to neutral install of what usually happens....full throttle run-away and damage to your boat.......
Hope this helps, have fun!
