I'm guessing the Robarts that they are replacing are one size fits all, too.

Remember, the P-40 wasn't swinging a 13 foot diameter prop so it didn't need the prop clearance.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but those look like Corsair gear because the struts look short. P-40 struts are longer because the P-40 doesn't have the inverted gull bends in the wing.
