Default Repairing 5925 servo wire

A crash damaged the connector on one of my 5925's. I thought I would use an extension to make a new servo wire by cutting off the female end but I can't seem to get the servo disassembled down as far as I'd like to. I have the bottom cover off and can see the termination point of the wire and pulled the gears out of the top of the servo. I can't get the circuit board out to gain access to the bottom of the solder joints. Is anyone familiar with these that can lend me some advice.

Thanks
