Default Asymmetric Airplane Design

Hey guys....

I was watching Rutan's Boomerang and when I just knew how stable that asymmetric airplane is, i just got amazed. Idea is to make the so called dangerous "Twin-Engine" airplane safer and more stable. I ve seen the propeller effects -- secondary moments and whirling slipstream destabilizing the airplane... in longitudnal and lateral axis in conventional symmetric airplanes.
But IS A Good asymmetric airplane really more stable than a normal symmetric one ? If its YES, Why are they not going for such designs ?
Can you guys explain the reasons why boomerang just needs a liitle aileron in single engine power-off condition.
I think it doesnt even need rudder application wen engine off condition.
