Default RE: Wing tips on a quicky 500...

The kit I am building just came with wing cores, a fiberglass fus, and plans. The planes show the tips need to be rounded but I haven't made wing tips before. I think this is done because people who build speed planes like to make things there own way.

I have started to shape some balsa blocks but just seam to sit there looking at it with out any sort of a plan. I had also thought about making some winglets for it. I don't know if that is a good idea. I have been looking at the wingtips of the planes that were entered in the other post about that german speed event and most look to have a fine taper coming from the root of the wing and have a rounded appearence if viewed from the top down (fore to aft).

thanks for the input guys.
