RE: OS 46AX vs 50 SX on A Tuned Pipe which one for my new Patriot?
My OS-50SX (Tower Muffler) was turning an APC 10x8 at 13.6K on 15%, OS-8, Sea level warm day 75 deg. did not fiddle with it much, that was a hair rich right before takeoff (Patriot) I hit 15.7K with a 9x8 APC- On a tuned pipe I would be anxious to see the result with the 50SX-
I love the engine- I got it off a plane I bought, I was not going to buy one new... now I would!
It is only a little bit behind my Webra-50GT, neither can compare with my Jett-50 though
