Default RE: A Bit Of Cox Nostalgia On The Tee Dee .010

How come I can only get about 24,000 out of my red and gold one? It's not even quite as powerful as my Black one! It has like new compression, and all parts seem to be in good shape with the exception of a very small crack in the neck of the carb body. The crack is still sealed and really doesn't seem to affect performance at all. I do, however, have a new carb body on the way just for good measure. Anybody got any ideas? Come to think of it, I've never even been able to get 28,000 out of the black one. I use 35% fuel and the stock black prop. What's the story here?
