Default RE: First speed plane for a YS45 ??

Arghh! havinfun has one of the best looking Patriots of all time- I should strip down one of mine and do a Blue Angels opposing solo covering job- (Oh yeah, I cover like crap nevermind--)

The DC F-20 Bob mentioned is reportedly a VERY good airplane--- Flyboy Dave has one and it screams! Rossi-45 full pipe gets 18K+ on what I think is MA 9x8

Back to the Patriot, I believe I have read every thread (and there are alot) about the GP Patriot and in the 40-50 class the YS-45SE on a Macs pipe ( 7.5CC or 8.5CC?) is second only to the Jett-50 when used on the Patriot!

It is worth mentioning that a quickee-500 type airplane is a good 1st speed-plane also.... And at some point I would recommend a delta like a Diamond Dust (Kit), or ACM Whiplash (Composite, paint ready) They look ugly to some until they FLY one!
