The Futaba will work with
1. Futaba Pcm Recievers
2. Futaba Ppm recievers ( FM to you)
3 Hitec Recievers for Futaba shift not JR
4. Fma recievers
there is probably some other obscure ones.
Pcm is on the radio, if you want it, so is ppm, cycle the power after changing it in the menu to switch between modes.
