I have been debating whether to post this or not. In reflecting on it, it seems to me that it is better to do it now and celebrate an icon rather than wait.
Mr. deBolt is a hero of mine. During the last year or so I have had the privilege of corresponding with him. This man has influenced so many of us in so many ways through the years it seems apropos that he allow us to tell him how much he has meant to us now.

A Sad message from Hal

Hi ya'll, As you can see this is a message
to many who have encouraged me
with my current ordeal. That has been a
bright spot in an otherwise dull period of
life. I should clue you in on the score which
I got from the Cancer Clinic Doctor this
afternoon, 'twas not good, it appears the
Cancer has cropped up elsewhere and they
have no procedure to stop it. (is that not
something after all these years and trillions
of dollars
spent?) Bottom line they say I may have
another 6 months or so. I don't need or want
sympathy the good Lord has given me 86
years of a fine life with wonderful modeling
people! All good things do have an end?
