I too have reservations about the validity of that statement but irregardless for others don,t let the part about only having four servo ports fool you. It is a five channel Rx with five total ports the fifth channel is accessed by plugging through the Batt port or any port for that matter with a 'Y' cord pal'ing with a batt. This is a technique used by a number of others and is no way a hindrance.
I also have a number of the newer Electon 6 and the 555 remains my preferrance. Its tolerance for the extreme high RPM (unloaded in flight to well over 20,000 rpm of the pylon ships) environment remains among the best.
