Has anyone ever heard of this make and model of engine?
Here's a pic of the ‘vintage’ 1986 HB.21 Grand Prix engine (Helmut Bernhard Feinmechanik ). It’s a good performer and will turn up to 26K reliably. The price was about 150 bucks. But spare parts no longer available!
Like the MVVS engine series the cylinder of this HB engine can be switched between side and rear exhaust configuration. That typically has to be done before the very first run of a brand new engine to establish an optimal piston/liner fit for ultimate performance. The rear exhaust configuration provides best output.
P.S. The ‘cheapo’ MVVS .21 being modified will turn even higher rpms without probs. No spare parts problem here.
