Default RE: Hitec 535 RX - Positive and Negative

I dont want to blow it up!
Thank you.

Good Plan The slightly older 535 as well as the current 555 and all other currant Hitec Rx's use the current industry plug polarity stantard of center pin positive. If you manage to plug in reversed which can be done will result in no damage and just an open power circuit. If it does not work just reverse.

Hitec, Airtronics (blue plug), JR and And Futaba all use the same polarity. The plugs used by all except Futaba are also interchangeable. The Futaba J plug must have a single spline on the side shaved off to fit the others ports. The plug you must avoid is the old style plugs Airtronics plugs which changed about five or six years ago. These in fact have reversed positive and negative from all others and will cause damage if the black plug has the three splines on the side shaved off and plugged into one of the others. The old style Airtronic plug is the only one who ever used the three splines on the plug.

What Tx are you intending to use as there is another positive and negative issue that has nothing to do with power but modulation shift type and this imust be the same as the tx?
