RE: What was your first Radio?
Started flying R/C in 1963 with an F&M 10 channel reed rig in a Mighty Mambo powered with a Veco 45. Didn't have anyone around that flew R/C, so I trained myself. It took a looooong time to get reasonably proficient ( and lots of patching and repairing practice ).
It was fun then and fun now. The radios these days are wonderful. Took me a long time to stop pulsing the sticks after switching to proportional radio. Still learning new things
