It'll look more sleek once i get the nose faired in and the fuse rounded off....
Yes, the arrow shaft worked out well. The ribs are supposed to be 3/32 balsa, but i laminated 1/16 balsa with 1/32 ply on each side. Then i have 1/32 ply cap strips the full rib length, then 1/32 balsa sheeting and a 1/32 balsa cap stip over the others between the sheeting. a bit tedious but there was only 8 ribs and it is very solid now. [8D]
I'm going to go with a reversed blue angels scheme...(a) to be more visible as it will be mostly yellow, and (b) to be different.
