Since yall are kit bashing why not build a modified shrike with retractable tricycle landing gear. I built one with external gear and it made take offs and landings great but it realy added a lot of drag. if i had the time and money i would attemp to install retracts and since your already useing a 91 engine youve got the HP to design a larger wing to help with the wing loading problem from all the extra landing gear weight. perhaps you would call it a 60 size shrike
