RE: What is ushaully the first thing to break on your Savage?
Apparently it is normal for guys that keep on the gas when they land, or don't maintain the adjustment on the spur gear properly. I am sure that they will break over time, but for some it is more that usual, so I would say that it depends on how you drive it and how precisely you care to maintain it...
