RE: Name doesn't appear in users viewing forum
This is a bug we are working on. Turns out RCU is more active then it would appear due to this problem. Many users are not showing at the top of the forums when logged on or on the online user list consistently. sometimes they show and sometimes not. I duplicated this several times today. I have the developer working on the bug now. This means that at the top of the forums and homepage the users browsing may be severely understated.
we hope to have a fix for this in the coming days so you can actually see who is browsing a specific forum at a given time and how many people are really on.
I had reports of this a few weeks ago from my electrics moderator greg who noticed the same and I started investigating it then but really had some clues on where this broke after your note here and some of the replication I was able to do.
