RE: Seeker II and Futaba 9cap
Speedbird,
Yes, mine did seem ok too at first but when I ranged checked them I only got about 50 feet away when the plane controls began to shake. If you are only looking at a servo connected to the receiver, it is difficult to see the movement. I have 8 of the Seekers manufactured in the 1980's and they shake violently. When I tried the 5 Seeker II's it was hard to notice and so did detect the movement until the ground range check with the antenna down.
Normally I can range check my Seekers at 400 feet with no movement and antenna down. I might add that my test Futaba was the 9z with the Synthsizer. I talked to George Stiener who is a radio expert and he agreed. George is a member of our RC club and he continually writes articles for RCM Magazine.
