Last time I was out with the heli, I did a tailstand as well. I came down hard enough to bend the tailshaft, and had to replace it.
If there is a bright side to all of this, you are getting a lot of practice fixing the heli, so you should know how it works better than ever
Keep at it, I know you'll get it. Try to stay on grass if you can, and if you are over pavement don't be scared to "skate" it across the pavement, it doesn't look pretty, but it can get you out of repairs sometimes. Just be sure your whiffle balls are spinning freely
