Is there any lubricant that shouldn't be used on a sticky Tx antenna? I was thinking of using silicon or similar.
There have been horror stories of silicon sprays acting as an insulator - WD40 in particular.
I can't verify, however if after cleaning, it still sticks, I'd use a little grapite powder on a clean paper towel and wipe.
