RE: ads disaperring the next day
If the ad was marked sold, you can change your filter preferences to view sold items within the past 30 days. But, if the seller simply canceled the ad and marked it as "did not sell", then it will not be visible. You might want to do a search however. The ad may have been moved to a more appropriate category if it did not meet the criteria for Garage Sale ads.
