Here's my First Airboat project. The Graupner "Fluppi" E.P. airboat.
Tested to run on hard snow/ice and just last week on water.
Hey, how do you like the fluppi? Is it fast? I have always wanted one, but could never find one.
It's just OK..for an E.P. airboat. Top speed (depending on electric motor & cells) is between 16-18 MPH.
What I liked about this airboat is the unusual hull design. Not the typical flat bottom or the exotic hydro hull available out there.
You can find one of these usually sold at those Ebay auctions. I saw a number of these kits sold at ebay Germany a few months ago.
