Default RE: Looking for a good Prop jet warbird arf

There are not a great deal of prop-jets ARF style out there these days.

Top of the ARF heap at the moment is the Cermark F-16. Very nice bird.

Kangke or Sportsman Aviation F-20 tigershark are good choices too. Only thing is they are not set up for retracts.

Morris Hobbies has the T-45. Nice bird, flys well.

The F-4 phantom from Lanier flys well. Again, no retracts, but its a nice plane. (The F-86 I tend to be less complimentary about)

Angle Design may have the T-38 available in the near future.

I have not seen any of the Vmar planes yet. Although the RCU report on the phantom seemed fairly positive.

Also as an alternative,
Keep an eye on the market place here at RCU and other auction sites. Sometimes you can find a well constructed AKM SU-27 or Mig-28 kit, or a ready to fly GP F-4 phantom or DC F-20. Often enough, these 'used' kit planes are better than the ARFs you might otherwise settle for.
