Yeah its kind of a leap of faith cutting up that lovely ali. To make the tank work with the old top plate would mean cutting right up to the front mounting holes and Im not sure that grade of ali would stand up to it too well. I really do want to use this tank though, it looks pretty good when its on and will mean run times are similar the the Savage with its 160cc tank.
