Try using an old psu [power supply] out of a computer.
I use a OLD 200 watt one that I found in the corner of my garage
Just chop the 5v and 3v wires off to leave the 12v ready to use
I found the new ones to be too complicated, with many wires having to be joined up to get it to work[:@]
so try to get a old[working]one if you can[8D]
it's a lot cheaper doing it this way than buying a dedicated unit.
As many computer stores will give away the old psu's for nothing!
just ask nicely
