RE: The Ultimate speed planes
Hi mate! Am getting into the old fashioned Goodyear racers that had average wing spans of about 50" that we originally flew in the mid 60's. When I got out of racing in the early 70's we were doing about 125 MPH and I learned they later got to 185 MPH.
What sort of speed are you lads getting?
Now tell me honestly. Do you call North as being up or South as being up? None of the Aussies I know could tell me. Seems like up for you lads would be South. Which is it?
