Default RE: Building a Dynaflite Super Decathlon

Marek,

Congratulations on your first towing with you super Decathlon.

I recently had some extra funds to go and get some more items for my plane. I have been busy with another project that I just recently completed. I took a stock Park Zone Flyers P-51 mustang and put a 480 multiplex brushless motor, 40amp speed controller, micro receiver and servos by Futaba, and a 7.4v 1500maH Lipo battery. This thing screams through the air.

Anyway here are some photos of what I have been doing. The wheel pants took a while to do cause I only messed with them maybe 10min at a time. I have three metal gear high torque servos pulling 107oz of torque. plenty enough for this plane. I also installed 65oz torque servos for the ailerons. I had to mount the rudder servo on a higher rail to allow for the arms to rotate in such a small space, and I got my tail wheel assembly from dave patrick models.
