After-run oil is tough to apply to four-strokes. I do it to all of my two strokes--I really don't know why, it's just something I do. However, with four strokes, putting after-run oil into the carb really doesn't do a whole lot. To oil the bearings, you really need to get it into the crankcase vent tube, which can be a real pain. I guess a syringe might help quite a bit, but I don't generally worry about it. I guess that's because I'm constantly using my four strokes. None of them will set for more than a month without being ran--during good weather.
