RE: Can you land a Magnum on a hard dirt surface??
I use this compsite stuff that resembles a sheet of Plexiglass but solid in color only its not and near impossible to break. It 's used for lining the inside of bulkers when delivering materials which makes it easier to get out. Anyways I have some on my shrike and a have a guy using some on his Magnum. I also my a tx tray holder with it.
Anyways we cut like a 1/4 inch square strip of it and cut the front of it so it is a bit aerodynamic and attach it to eact underside of the wing, then a couple pieces in the back and up front. It wears very well.
It is possible that 1/4 hard wood strips could do the same thing
