Default RE: Alternative to Bondo ???

2Timmer,

I use a product called "Icing" to fill any voids I may have. This is a polyester based product but for some reason adhears very well to my epoxyglass fuselages. It is super simple to sand and gives very good results.. I buy it at the local CarQuest auto parts store in the auto /paint section. As everyone here has suggested... all of these products require proper ventilation. There are many ways to accomplish this as in with temporary fans/ducting and I believe you need to look at that path. I think we are just now starting to find out what all of the "chemicals" of our youth really did to us. I don't even want to think about some of the stuff I have used without gloves/ventilation/protection... but.. I did quit smoking so.. One for me... good luck, but try the icing, much easier than Bondo, smells a little bit less.. but you still need to take care of the ventilation issue.
