RE: Should I send my reciever in?
I have seen guys use receivers that were previously crashed hard and they work fine for quite a while then suddenly it fails. Most of them will work after an crash or being immersed in water for that matter but in the long haul alot of them probably fail. I agree that sending it in is wise. In some cases if it is a cheaper reciever then I have thrown them away. Fortunatly I have only had a couple of truly hard hits.
