Had a four star as a second plane. I sheeted the leading edge with 1/16 because I just like the look better. Also sheeted the rear turtle deck and carved a balsa cowl. I like the four star just wanted to be a little different.

Kit is great without modifications however do change the pushrods. They really grow with the temp and it is fustrating to deal wiith the trim changes when temp changes. The temp change from morning to afternoon in the summer is about 1/3 my trim adjustment.

Just pull the plastic pushrods out and install Great Planes music wire pushrods. End of the growing problem and less chance for flutter. Worked for me.
