Try your PC9 without the undercarridge, it will suprise you at the increase in speed just by removing some parastitic drag from the aircraft, why else have retracts? I'm investigating some lightweight retract for my Seagull PC9 at the moment will let you know when I'v decided, will put details on the thread when I take the thing to pieces and do it.
